Actress Marian Rivera reportedly denied a viral blind item circulating online about a “showbiz power couple,” alleging that the husband is living a “double life” and juggling “multiple women.”

Rose Garcia, host of the online show “Marites University,” said she messaged the Kapuso star regarding the blind item, which claimed that “a showbiz power couple admired for their looks, flawless image, and undeniable success in their respective fields” is secretly facing marital problems.

The blind item alleged that while the husband projects the “image of a devoted partner, he is supposedly juggling multiple women—quietly, repeatedly, and recklessly.”

It additionally claimed that the wife was spotted breaking down “in front of close friends” in a hotel lobby due to the husband’s supposed infidelity.

“For now, the smiles remain intact, the photos still polished. But those who know say it’s only a matter of time before the truth catches up with the illusion,” it reads.

Many Filipinos in the comments section speculated that, based on the descriptions, the blind item may be referring to the “DongYan” couple, or Dingdong Dantes and Marian.

The couple has been married for 11 years and has two children, Zia and Sixto.

Both are known for their polished looks, with Marian often regarded as one of the most beautiful celebrities in the country.

“Based sa definition of the power couple… admired by their looks and career… red carpets, brand deals…. parang DongYan. Hmmm,” a Facebook user wrote.

“Una ko talaga naisip DongYan,” another commented.

“Power Couple, di DongYan ‘yan,” a different Facebook user said.

“Marian and Dong?” another Pinoy asked.

Meanwhile, Rose said she messaged the actress about the blind item to confirm whether it referred to them.

“Ni-message ko si Yan (Marian). Sabi ko, ‘I’m sure aware ka sa blind item kung saan sa comments section kayong dalawa ni Dong ang binabanggit,'” the “Marites University” host said.

Rose shared that Marian called her to check in and address the viral rumor.

“Sabi niya, ‘Ate, jusme. Ano ba ‘yang mga blind item na ‘yan?’ Parang sanay na sila kasi parang every year, lalo na raw ‘pag January, palaging may ganyang chika,” the host said.

Rose said Marian sent her a photo of herself and Dingdong with their heads close together, adding that the actress said it was taken while she and Rose were talking.

The couple’s photo was taken during their son’s football practice.

They recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on December 30, with Dingdong posting a photo of them captioned, “Happy 11th anniversary sa aking mahal na asawa.”

He also posted a photo of them working out together on January 8.

“Day two ng kaniyang workout for 2026 — at fresh pa rin,” he said with a grinning emoji, referring to his wife.

The couple have maintained a visible presence together on social media.
