A clip from the game show “Family Feud Philippines” went viral after host Dingdong Dantes appeared to reference a senator who had previously been criticized for using social media instead of attending Senate sessions.
The show’s official Facebook page posted a clip of Dingdong asking, “Ano ang posibleng trabaho ng taong laging naka-livestream?”
The answer choices were: A. Online Seller and B. Senator
A comedic sound effect played at the end of the clip..
“Ano kaya?” the game show’s caption read.
The page also the clip as a separate post, which has garnered more than 870 reactions.
“Sa mga masisipag nating kababayan! Na never nag-absent kahit mahal ang pamasahe, sana po ay manalo kayo sa aming promo,” Dingdong said in the episode aired on July 9.
The question was posed to viewers, who were also invited to participate by submitting their answers.

Meanwhile, the game show’s Facebook post was also shared on Reddit, where it amassed more than 6,100 upvotes, four awards and over 60 comments.
“Dito lang talaga ako magiging proud na maging DDS (Dingdong Dantes Supporter),” a Reddit user said.
“The SHADE!!!” another commented.
“B. Senador. AKA boy 10k [P10,000],” another user commented, referring to Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano‘s old proposal that every family receives a P10,000 cash aid.
The question appeared to refer to Cayetano, who had previously been criticized by some of his Senate colleagues for frequently going live on Facebook instead of attending plenary sessions.
Shortly after assuming the role of Senate President, there was a time in June when Cayetano drew criticism for repeatedly livestreaming on Facebook instead of presiding in the Upper Chamber.
“WHAT A MESS! Where else can we find a Senate President who boycotts the regular sessions of a chamber, which he is supposed to preside, then delivers speeches on Facebook instead of the Senate floor before his peers so we can interpellate him?” Sen. Ping Lacson wrote on social media last month.
In response, Cayetano argued that other senators also use social media to their advantage, saying it has become a normal part of public communication.
Cayetano and several other senators had also previously skipped Senate sessions. Their absence came after the arrest of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada on plunder charges and amid the absence of Sen. Bato dela Rosa following the issuance of an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court.
