Some Filipinos shared their message exchanges with celebrities and other personalities after receiving replies to their comments on Instagram stories.
A Threads user on Thursday, June 25m shared an exchange with an actor who replied after the user commented on the actor’s Instagram story.
The Threads user said the response was unexpected, prompting them to ask other whether they had also exchanged messages with public figures in the same way.
“Minsan nag-try ako mag-reply sa story ng isang artista tapos nagulat ako na nag-reply. Naranasan niyo na ba ‘yun?” Threads user @kuyacalli asked.

His post has garnered 2,700 likes and more than 630 replies, with some online users sharing their own experiences.
“Yes! Si Gretchen Baretto, kasagsagan nung away nilang pamilya, nung na-ospital tatay nila, as in, chikahan talaga kami at nagse-send pa siya ng video nun sa’kin nung nasa ospital sila at nagkagulo sila ni Marjorie,” a Threads user commented.

“I messaged Ms. Barbie Imperial because I loved the top she was wearing and asked where she got it. Plot twist: she offered to send it to me and she actually did! She’s so nice!” the Threads user shared.
