The Masungi Georeserve is inviting the public to a night of music and shared dining under the stars as Filipinos celebrate Love Month this February.

The conservation area in Baras, Rizal launched “Moonlit Symphonies,” an initiative where guests can enjoy dinner at a communal forest table while being serenaded by a live wind and string trio.

The four-hour experience takes guests through three distinct spaces, allowing them to enjoy a sunset view of the city while being serenaded by instrumental music along the trails.

Guests are then guided to a curated dinner featuring dishes inspired by cultural cuisines and local ingredients from Rizal, Quezon and Laguna.

The menu, developed in collaboration with Trining’s Kitchen Stories, a restaurant specializing in Ilocano cuisine, is served family-style at the communal table.

“Moonlit Symphonies invites you into a night where music and nature move as one,” the Masungi Georeserve said in a Facebook post.

“As moonlight filters through the trees, wind and string melodies guide the evening from wonder to warmth — shared over good food, open air, and moments of calm — closing like a gentle homecoming under the stars,” it added.

“At the heart of the experience is a shared forest table, warm food, and unhurried moments spent together. Moonlit Symphonies invites you to step away from the noise and return to something familiar and grounding — a feeling of home beneath the stars,” it further said.

Those interested can book for February 14, 17, 21 and 28.

Slots are limited, and the deadline for registration is four days before each visit. Guests can secure their spots through an online form.

Rates are P4,800 per visitor, with proceeds directly supporting the georeserve’s ongoing forest reforestation and protection efforts.

The Masungi Georeserve is a conservation area and rustic rock garden located in the rainforests of Rizal. It is home to massive limestone formations and hundreds of plant and animal species.
