This is the heartwarming moment a boyfriend proposed to his partner during a shopping mall event.
Manila City Band member Lhey Miranda, 38, serenaded and held out a ring to propose to his long-term partner, Aliana Villanueva, at the Mall of Asia in Metro Manila.
Footage shows Lhey wearing a blue uniform ensemble, with his colleagues holding their instruments and positioned around the crowd on February 14.
He then pulled Aliana and their daughter in front of the band as they played “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.
Lhey knelt on one knee and extended his arms, revealing a ring box to his girlfriend, prompting spectators to cheer in awe.
Moments later, Aliana, tearful from the proposal, said yes, and the couple, together for five years, embraced while the band continued to perform.
Aliana said in a Facebook post: “A memorable Valentine’s Day. I’m finally engaged to the person I love. Lhey told me we would just take pictures; I had no idea he was going to propose.”
