For a couple, an ordinary TikTok video turned out to be a preview of the pregnant mother’s labor.
Couples Mark and Mapple only wanted to do a trending dance on the platform when the latter suddenly experienced pains just seconds after starting the video.
“‘Yung TikTok lang sana, labor na pala,” the text on their video reads.
When Mark asked what was wrong, Mapple replied that she was in pain.
“Mangangak ka kaya?” he asked in a panic-stricken tone.

Mark later posted another video after an online user asked for an “update,” since their first post left viewers hanging.
“Ito na po, haha, sorry, hindi ko nailapag maayos [‘yung] cellphone,” he wrote in the follow-up video.
The following clip revealed his wife in the hospital, having just delivered their baby.
“Hi, Flash,” a text within the video reads.

In an interview with GMA Public Affairs, Mark shared that while he knew it was already his wife’s due date, he didn’t expect an emergency Caesarean section.
He said Mapple gave birth on August 20 and is still resting in the hospital.
In the comments section of their new video, Mark said that their baby was already “38 weeks old.”
