A young jeepney driver in Metro Manila went viral for fetching his girlfriend using the public utility vehicle.
Aldrin Hermogino, who describes himself as a “Gen Z (Generation Z) jeepney driver,” posted a clip of himself fetching his partner while plying the Lagro-to-Fairview route in Quezon City.
“‘Yung mag-susundo ka lang naman pero bigla kang kinilig HAHAHAHA,” he wrote on TikTok, where the post has so far garnered 4.9 million views and over 7,000 comments, including from some celebrities.
The video showed Aldrin stopping by to fetch Samantha, a college nursing student, who then sat beside him in the front seat.
She gave him a kiss on the cheek to show her appreciation.

The video also caught the attention of actress Miles Ocampo and actor-restaurateur Marvin Agustin.
“Luh,” Miles wrote.
“Char, stay in love, phoewzs,” she added.
“Di naman ako na-inggit,” Marvin commented with a smiling emoji.
According to a report by GMA News, Samantha would regularly catch Aldrin’s jeepney at the right time during his trips. The two eventually developed a relationship.
