Actor-restaurateur Marvin Agustin amused Filipinos by sharing a meme that plays on his last name and the date August 10.
The showbiz personality on Thursday, August 7, posted a photo of himself peeking from a corner with a smile, accompanied by the caption: “Hello! #marvinaugust10.”
“August10” is a play on his last name, “Agustin.”
The pose he did is often used by Filipinos to usher in the “-Ber” months, when Jose Mari Chan’s Christmas songs start playing in public places as early as September.
Meanwhile, Marvin’s content has amassed 23,000 laughing reactions and 1,500 shares from Filipinos who were amused by the wordplay.
