Content creator Macoy Dubs fulfilled his “fantasy” of dressing up as Miranda Priestly from his favorite film, “The Devil Wears Prada,” at an event.

The car enthusiast on Friday, January 30, shared a video of himself alighting from a vehicle to attend the Toyota Media Thanksgiving, saying his look was inspired by the iconic character.

His outfit, particularly, drew from Miranda’s style at Paris Fashion Week, where she wore a black dress with poofy sleeves.

Meanwhile, Macoy revealed that his grand entrance was inspired by a scene in the movie that introduces Miranda to viewers.

The scene shows Miranda getting out of her car and walking toward her office, from the building entrance to her desk.

As she arrives, her staff becomes frenzied, exchanging sandals for heels, applying lipstick, and arranging the conference table.

In the movie, Miranda is the feared editor-in-chief of Runway magazine, known for her icy demeanor and diva attitude.

Macoy, who became internet-famous for his Filipino dubs of the chick flick, reimagined the iconic introduction of Miranda as he arrived at the event.

“The Devil Wears Prada fantasy fulfilled at the Toyota Media Thanksgiving. Hehe. This film will always be my favorite,” he wrote as a caption in his Facebook post.

“In 2010, my Communication Theories professor told us to watch this movie and write a paper reaction to it. After that, ilang beses ko na pinaulit-ulit. Meganon?” the content creator added.

Macoy also shared pictures of his look with the caption, “WHY IS NO ONE READDYYY???” It referenced a line Miranda says after arriving at her office.

Meanwhile, Macoy’s post has earned 35,000 views, over 2,000 likes and reactions, and nearly 130 comments from several Facebook users.

“The Devil Wears Secosana. Emz!” an online user quipped.

“Miranda? Or Chito Miranda? Eme,” another joked.

“Ang awra: Miranda Priestly. Ang lakad: Annalise Keating HAHAHAHA,” a different Facebook user commented, referencing another character from “How To Get Away From Murder” whom Macoy also imitates.

“Kuhang-kuha ‘yung balikat ‘pag nasa elevator,” another Pinoy quipped.

Macoy is a fan of “The Devil Wears Prada” and has reimagined some scenes of the movie in a Filipino setting, making Pinoys laugh with Miranda uttering lines like, “Bes, ito ba ‘yung sa Greenhills?” in his dubs.

He has since expanded into creating comedic skits and other content for fun.

Apart from that, Macoy also shares car reviews as an automobile enthusiast and fact checking content for Probe.
