Model-turned-actor Victor Basa has reappeared on Filipinos’ radar as a marketing professional for a well-known car brand.
A showbiz-oriented Facebook page shared that Victor is now working at Toyota Santa Rosa in Laguna as part of its sales team amid his less frequent appearances in showbiz.
The page posted a screenshot of the actor’s Facebook post, in which he introduced himself as a marketing professional for the branch.
“NAALALA NIYO PA BA ANG AKTOR NA SI VICTOR BASA!? Isa na ngayong Marketing Professional ng isang car brand ang dating aktor na si Victor Basa,” the Facebook page wrote on Monday, June 15.
On May 7, Victor shared a photo of himself wearing a Toyota ID and captioned it.
“Welcome to Toyota Santa Rosa, this is Victor Basa, your newest Marketing Professional. Drop by the showroom and have a look at our latest models and learn about our latest promos and offers.”
Earlier this month, Victor also shared more insights into his new life.
“Never thought selling cars would be so fulfilling. Every morning, I pass through the workshop, just as I’m about to start my day, I see mechanics working like F1 pit crews, complete with the pneumatic tools, already hours into their shifts, and the parts division buzzing like a Wall Street trading floor,” he shared on Instagram.
“Seeing that dedication, speed and determination is admirable, makes me want to do well too — not just for myself, but also for everybody giving their best for their team, their company and their family,” Victor added.
“Here’s to learning more and to be of service to our customers who have worked hard to achieve their dreams and who need just as capable and reliable vehicle to be with them every step of the way,” he said.

Victor began his career as a model before transitioning to acting in 2006.
He also became a housemate on the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2.”
Among his notable projects are “My Husband’s Lover,” “Buena Familia” and “Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune.”
More recently, he made appearance in the action-drama series “Incognito.”
Aside from acting, Victor also ventured into fashion blogging, where he shared style insights and lifestyle content with his followers.
