The Philippines is among the markets to receive a set of character-inspired beverages tied to The Devil Wears Prada 2″ as part of a global campaign linked to the film.

The limited-time offerings, developed in collaboration with Starbucks, will be made available in participating stores nationwide for a limited period beginning April 29 until June.

The lineup features four customized beverages named after key characters from the film:

  • Miranda: “A no foam, extra shot, extra hot Caffè Latte with Skimmed Milk. Because anything less would prompt… questions.”
  • Andy: “An Oatmilk Cappuccino with caramel and cinnamon: simple, elevated, and ready to walk the line between who she was and who she’s becoming.”
  • Nigel: “Gird your loins… A Doppio Espresso Con Panna with mocha: bold and refined”
  • Emily: “An Iced Chai Latte with almond milk and caramel: fussy and prepared to be delivered at a ‘glacial pace’… or not.”

The campaign builds on the coffee chain’s long-standing association with the film franchise, where coffee runs formed part of the original storyline.

“Starbucks has been part of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ universe since the original film,” Erin Silvoy, senior vice president of global marketing at Starbucks, said.

“We’re excited to bring that connection to life again, giving fans a way to step into the moment – starting with their daily coffee.”

The rollout is part of a broader partnership with 20th Century Studios, which will also feature the brand in the film.

“It’s all good energy with Starbucks and our new movie, ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2,’” Lylle Breier of The Walt Disney Company said.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating in such a big way with Starbucks on a bold, clever, and thematic global program designed to delight fans around the world.”

In the United States, a Starbucks Reserve branch at the Empire State Building in New York City will offer limited-edition copies of “Runway Magazine,” a fictional publication featured in the movie.

The sequel reunites original cast members Meryl Streep (Miranda Priestly), Anne Hathaway (Andy Sachs), Emily Blunt (Emily Charlton) and Stanley Tucci (Nigel Kipling), who reprise their roles nearly two decades after the original film.

They are joined by returning director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, alongside new cast members including Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Kenneth Branagh, B.J. Novak, Simone Ashley, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen and Pauline Chalamet.

20th Century Studios said the film is produced by Wendy Finerman and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Aline Brosh McKenna, and Karen Rosenfelt.

“The Devil Wears Prada 2” also opens in cinemas on April 29.
