Viral posts by actress Ellen Adarna exposing her husband Derek Ramsay‘s alleged infidelity have turned into a marketing trend online.
On Monday, November 17, the actress revealed that the actor had cheated on her, following rumors that the couple had already separated.
Ellen said she learned about his infidelity only about three weeks ago, though it happened during the early days of their relationship, before they were married.
Her revelation comes just days after their wedding anniversary on November 11.
“Yeah, so ‘di ba that was nine days [or] 10 days into the relationship. Yes, we were not married at that time yet, but if he was able to do that in our honeymoon stage, how much more three months, six months, a year? God knows, right?” she said in an Instagram Story.
The actress said she was “amazed” that Derek was allegedly able to cheat on her “nine days” into their relationship, adding that womanizers “usually” go back to old habits after the “honeymoon stage” of a relationship.
Ellen claimed the woman involved, whose identity she said her lawyers advised her not to disclose, was not an ex-girlfriend but a “side chick” who had been “friends” with him “for decades” and “has always been there.”
The actress then shared screenshots of messages from Derek to another individual, in which the person expressed frustration over his repeated attempts to contact her despite being in a relationship.
Ellen also referred to Derek as a “manchild,” a term used to describe a man exhibiting emotional immaturity, irresponsibility, unreliability, and self-centeredness, among other traits.
Some of Ellen’s posts were later picked up by brands for their social media content.
Among them was Zark’s Burgers, which mimicked the actress’ initial post about her husband, replacing key phrases with their own to promote a “Thanksgiving Promo” to customers.
“Wow. IFYKYK,” it said. “IFYKYK” is short for “If You Know, You Know.”
The burger chain also shared a detailed infographic about its promo in the comments section.
Meanwhile, the page of SM North EDSA mimicked one of the screenshots from Ellen’s post, replacing some of the content with an image of their holiday mall display.

“Wow. The audacity. #SupersizedChristmasAtSM,” it said in a post.
“Celebrate your honeymoon stage here at The Block Atrium,” the mall added.
Motorcycle ride-hailing app Angkas also rode the trend and replaced some of the messages in the viral screenshots with content related to their services.
“Traffic? Nvm [Nevermind],” it said.
Meanwhile, Ellen also shared a video on her Instagram Stories by former “The Clash” 2023 contestant Mark Avila, who discussed people who claim to love you but secretly entertain others behind your back.

“Nakakatakot magmahal ‘no? Akala mo happy ending na, hindi pa pala?” Mark said in an Instagram post.

Ellen and Derek have been plagued by separation rumors for months, fueled by social media users who noticed the couple’s lack of posts about each other on their accounts.
The couple confirmed they had been together since February 2021, following several sightings of them at social events. By March of the same year, they got engaged and later married in an intimate ceremony in November 2021.
They have a daughter, Liana, who celebrated her first birthday in October 2025.
