Internet personality Kween Yasmin is once again invading social media feeds as several pages adopt her distinctive font for their content.
The content creator caught Filipinos by surprise when her style appeared on the Facebook pages of brands, org and institutions such as BPI, McDonald’s, Hotel Sogo, Viva Records, SM Supermalls, Cebu Pacific Air, the Philippine National Bank, The Door Depot, the Jose Rizal University and Angat Buhay NGO.
Some government pages also joined the trend, including the Municipal Tourism, Culture, Arts, and Music Office of Angono, Rizal.
On Tuesday, November 25, online design and publishing tool Canva announced that publishers can now use the “All-Purpose Kween” assets on the platform, featuring the internet personality Kween Yasmin.
“The All-purpose Kween is here! Ey, as in may official eyndorser na ang business mo sa Canva!” the platform said.
On Thursday, November 27, Yasmin confirmed having an “endorsement partnership” with Canva.
She also quipped that practicing yoga has helped with her “poses,” as seen in the content created by various entities.
“Hahaha, worth it ang yoga,” the content creator said.
A look at Canva’s “All-Purpose Kween” page shows a range of publication assets available for use by entities and designers, including fonts (letters and numbers), emojis and photos.
The fonts feature Yasmin in poses that resemble letters of the alphabet, allowing users to incorporate her likeness directly into their designs.
The internet personality, also known as Yasmin Asistido, is known for her humor and wit.
She first rose to internet fame in 2018 with her rendition of Ex Battalion’s “Hayaan Mo Sila.”
