In a now-viral moment, a quick-thinking wedding coordinator leapt over a bride’s gown to shield her from a collapsing flower wall backdrop.
The worker stood near the church entrance when strong wind knocked down a 7ft (2m) wooden floral decoration in Manila.
Footage shows him springing forward to block the floral panel from hitting the woman.
He grabbed it and pushed it aside before others hurried to help.
Videographer Eugene Castro uploaded the moment on Facebook, where it garnered 13 million views, 123,000 reactions, 3,000 comments and 21,000 shares.
“‘Yung bigla siyang naging bida sa eksena,” Castro wrote.
Many online users praised the wedding coordinator and joked about the moment.
“Parang nabago bigla ang tinitibok ng puso nung bride,” a Facebook user quipped.
“Not all superheroes wear capes,” one commented.
“Superhero po sya hindi na napigilan ang pagpapanggap na tao,” another said.
Castro also lauded the wedding coordinator.
“It was a great save. He was so great at his job,” Castro said.
The bride appeared startled so the crew members had to redo the scene on October 4.
No one was hurt, and the couple thanked the worker after the groom found out.
