Metro Manila commuters can now spot “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” on their daily commute as trains on the Light Rail Transit’s LRT-1 and LRT-2 lines have been wrapped with promotional artwork for the upcoming Marvel film.

The themed trains feature the movie’s banner poster, highlighting Spider-Man alongside Hulk and members of The Hand, as part of the promotional campaign leading up to the film’s Philippine release on July 29.

LRT-1, which runs between Fernando Poe Jr. Station and Dr. Santos Station, serves 25 stations across Metro Manila, including stops near several universities and tourist destinations. Meanwhile, LRT-2 operates between Recto and Antipolo, with 13 stations connecting key areas of the metro.

The film follows Peter Parker as he continues fighting crime in a world that no longer remembers him.

“It’s a brand new day for Peter Parker in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day.’ Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him – and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him – sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them,” the release read.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton described the film as both heartfelt and entertaining.

“It’s quite emotional but it’s also a lot of fun,” Cretton said.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo. It opens in Philippine cinemas on July 29.
