Leading the spike is BINI, set to become the first P-Pop girl group to perform at the Coachella stage this week.

Data showed global searches for “BINI Coachella” reaching a peak score of 100 on April 8, briefly becoming the top trending search term worldwide.

The group, composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena, is scheduled to perform on April 10 (April 11, Manila time), drawing attention from both international festival-goers and their Filipino fanbase, known as BLOOMs.

Meanwhile, KATSEYE, which features Filipina member Sophia Laforteza, has also seen a sharp rise in search activity. Google Trends data showed searches for “Katseye Coachella” reaching a score of 98 on April 7 before peaking at 100 on April 8.

The group is also set to perform at the festival’s Sahara stage, with added attention following the release of their new single “Pinky Up” just ahead of their set.

Google Search data indicates that interest in both acts is not limited to the Philippines, suggesting growing global visibility for P-Pop and K-pop-adjacent acts on the international festival circuit.

The simultaneous rise in search interest highlights a broader moment for Asian pop acts gaining mainstream traction as Coachella 2026 kicks off this weekend.
