Online shoppers were warned about packages being addressed to them despite not purchasing such products.
A Reddit user raised awareness about someone receiving baby wipes from a sender named “DELI PH MALL” despite not ordering the item.
“‘Wag po kayong tumanggap ng kahit anong parcel galing sa sender na ‘to,” the Redditor said, apparently quoting a post they saw on Facebook.
“Kung may dumating man sa inyo, pakibalik na lang agad sa rider or sa sender. May nagpadala kasi nito sa province na nakapangalan kay mama, pero hindi naman siya nag-o-order online,” the post added.
“When I researched, I found out that many people have also been scammed by this, and it appears that these parcels are being mass-sent,” the post continued.

The post has received 1,200 upvotes and over 260 comments from other Redditors, many of whom similar experiences.
“I remember receiving [two] ballpens from the same shop (already paid) and ni-receive na kasi ng guard. Tried to track how I can return, but wala din way via Lazada app. I actually had this at the back of my mind kasi [it] felt like a security issue,” a Reddit user said.
“Ako sa TikTok weekly, may dumadating na order, P599, kahit ‘di naman ako nago-order dun,” another user commented.
“Happened to us twice. From AGELESS BEAUTY na seller naman. Hilig ko kasi isabay na bayaran ‘yung order ng partner ko, lalo kapag he’s busy sa work, ako tinatawagan ng taga-deliver, so sige lang ako ng bayad. Lesson learned,” a different Redditor said.
A look at Facebook also shows other users receiving packages they did not order from the sender “DELI PH MALL.”
“Shout out, Deli PH mall, ano ‘to??? May dumating kahapon na parcel, nakapangalan sa asawa ko, may time na nag-COD ang asawa ko, na bihira ‘yun at nag-iiwan pati siya ng pambayad,” a Facebook user said.
“Since Martes, nag-stay siya sa work, then naisip ko, nag-order siya noong 3.3 ta’s na-ship out agad. SHOPEE lang naman ang pinagkakatiwalaan niya, so ni-received ko ‘yung parcel without [my husband knowing at first]. Binayaran ko ng P325 ‘yung parcel and then in-open, nawindang ako noong makita ko ‘yung laman,” she added.
Another Facebook user shared that she received a product from the same sender, saying she paid P325 for an item she believed her child had ordered.
“Ito ‘yung sender para aware din kayo, DELI PH MALL, Fortune Marikina City. Bahala si Lord sa inyo,” a Facebook user wrote.
A similar incident was reported in 2022, when an individual’s name was used as the “sender” on a package that someone else had not ordered.
Meanwhile, online shoppers are being warned to remove personal information, such as their names, contact numbers and addresses, from waybills to prevent it from being used in scams or other fraudulent activities.
