While many Filipinos marked Christmas Eve at home, one man chose to spend the night cooking, sharing drinks, and dining with people who had nowhere else to go.
A Reddit user on Monday, December 29 shared pictures of him cooking food and dining with people on Christmas Eve.
“Spent My Christmas Eve with Homeless People,” Redditor “IsmaelKaNaman” wrote on the “r/Philippines” community.
“Hi! Gusto ko lang sana i-share sa inyo kung anong ginagawa ko last December 24. Spent the day cooking large batches of food at nakipagnuman din sa kanila hanggang abutin ng umaga, hahaha!” he wrote.
“Additional context: Marami sa mga taong lansangan ay walang tutuluyan tuwing araw ng pasko kaya, ininvite sila ng isang NGO para mag-Noche Buena,” the Redditor added.
In the discussion thread, he said that the NGO was Sandigan ng Masang Nasa Kalsada (KASAMA KA, Inc).
