Veteran journalist Kara David commended a delivery rider after she forgot to bring her blazer to an event she was invited as a guest.

On Wednesday, August 27, the broadcast journalist shared that she had left her cover-up in Quezon City while attending an event in Makati organized by member associations of the Ad Standards Council.

“My life saver today.

Whew! Ride safe po!” she added.

David also shared a photo of the blazer she asked Montealegre to deliver while she attended the “Patas na Patalastas: The National Summit on Fair and Progressive Advertising Self-Regulation” at a Makati hotel.

Her post has gained 5,900 likes and reactions and more than 90 comments, with some Filipinos sharing similar sentiments.

In the comments section, David said she used Lalamove, a delivery service app.

She attended the Ad Standards Council’s event as a guest on the “Truth-Telling and Truth-Selling” panel, which discussed “upholding honesty in the era of disinformation.”

She was accompanied by Rappler co-founder and CEO Maria Ressa and Louie Ignacio, chair of the University of Santo Tomas Sociology Department.
