A cultural organization is inviting singles to a “Sunset Tour” with fellow singles on Valentine’s Day, which features a walk around Manila and stories about “how love became part of certain places in the city.”
Renacimiento Manila will hold its Special Valentine’s Day Tour, dubbed “Single Sunset Tour,” from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on February 14.
The organization said it is an event “dedicated to meeting fellow singles,” where participants will share stories about places in Manila with histories rooted in love or romantic tales.
“There’s a wedding gift, buildings named after wives, power couples, and more,” it said in a Facebook post.
The interactive experience will allow singles to visit First United Building, Calle Escolta, Jones Bridge, Plaza Santo Tomas (Casa Tomasina), Manila Cathedral and Plaza Mexico.
It will end at the Pasig River Esplanade, a promenade featuring landscaped walkways with lights and plant installations.
“Maybe, and juuust maybe, you might meet someone special,” the org’s post read.
The walk will have a registration fee of P500, inclusive of a “social bingo card.”
The organization said that as of Tuesday, February 11, only ten slots are left for the Valentine’s Day event.
Those interested may fill out an online form.
