Sparkle star Max Collins joined the fun after an entertainment publication pointed out her striking resemblance to the winner of the first Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars.
The inaugural MGI All Stars 2026 crowned Vanessa Pulgarin of Colombia as the winner of its winner during the coronation held in Thailand on Saturday, May 30, after she bested 55 other candidates.
Faith Maria Porter of Ghana was named first runner-up, while Huong Kiang Nguyen of Vietnam finished as second runner-up.
The Philippines’ own Gazini Ganados, meanwhile, finished in the Top 5.
The Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) noticed Vanessa’s resemblance to Max and published a post highlighting the similarity.
“HINDI MO KAMI MALOLOKO MARENG MAX COLLINS,” the publication wrote in a Facebook post, which was accompanied by a photo of Vanessa.
“Pinay pride! Go, mare!” it added in the caption, along with a sparkles emoji and the hashtag #PEPMemes.
The post has garnered more than 35,000 laugh reactions and 1,100 shares on Facebook.
Max herself took notice of the post and shared it on her Facebook page, jokingly writing: “Salamat sa lahat ng bumati.”
She paid her caption with three rolling-on-the-floor laughing emojis.
Max’s post has garnered more than 60,00 laugh reactions and over 570 comments from Filipinos online, many of whom also noticed the striking resemblance.
“Sabi na nga ba, kahawig,” a Facebook user commented with a smiling emoji.
“Sabi ko na eh, panalo ang Pinas, hahaha Congrats po!” another joked.
“Mima, nilaban mo kami, HAHAHAHA, we love you,” a different Pinoy quipped.
“Akala ko ako lang nakapansin,” another commented with laughing emojis.
Meanwhile, Vanessa previously represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2025, where she advanced to the Top 12 semifinalists.
Outside pageantry, her career focuses on modeling and social leadership initiatives.
