Anime’s biggest annual awards show is bringing more music stars to Tokyo, Japan, this month.
Crunchyroll announced Friday, May 15, that K-pop artists BamBam and TEN, musician Ethan Bortnick and Puerto Rican rapper-singer Young Miko will serve as presenters at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, set for May 23.
The four join a celebrity lineup that already includes Asuka Saito, RZA, Rashmika Mandanna, The Weeknd and Winston Duke as the anime streaming platform celebrates the awards show’s 10th year.
Hosted by entertainer Jon Kabira and voice actress Sally Amaki, the ceremony recognizes creators, performances, and music behind anime’s growing global audience. The event will stream live worldwide through Crunchyroll’s Twitch, TikTok and YouTube channels.
BamBam, best known as a member of GOT7, has steadily built his solo career since 2021.
Crunchyroll said the Thai artist has shown “various sides of his artistry, including his cheerful vocals that were not fully highlighted during his activities as a rapper in GOT7.”
TEN, who performs with NCT and WayV, is also joining the presenters’ roster following the release of his 2025 EP “Stunner.”
Crunchyroll noted that the project topped iTunes Albums charts in 19 countries, while Billboard named its title track among the year’s best K-pop songs.
Young Miko, meanwhile, brings another major international name to the event. The GRAMMY-nominated Puerto Rican artist currently has more than 20 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 21 million followers across social media.
Crunchyroll described her as “one of the most influential voices shaping global music today.”
Also set to appear is pianist and songwriter Ethan, whose tracks “cut my fingers off” and “engravings” have accumulated more than 135 million Spotify streams.
According to Crunchyroll, the musician is “honing an artistic vision aimed at bringing classical music to the mainstream in a bold new way.”
The Anime Awards pre-show starts at 5 p.m. JST (4 p.m. in the Philippines), followed by the main ceremony at 6 p.m. JST (5 p.m. Philippine time). The livestream will be available in nine languages.
