Did actor Enrique Gil comment “I love you” on a post by actress Liza Soberano, whom he used to date?
Eagle-eyed social media users noticed that a TikTok account bearing the actor’s name and image dropped the comment “I love you” with a heart emoji on one of her TikTok posts.
On July 29, Liza posted a video of herself lip-syncing to Ariana Grande’s “everytime,” complete with matching moves.
TikTok users were in disbelief when the account bearing Enrique’s name and image dropped the comment.

It is unclear whether the account, with the username @enrique_gil24, is Enrique’s, as it does not have a verified badge.
It has two posts, with one of them showing the actor dancing.
However, one user pointed out that Liza, in a 2021 post, tagged the particular TikTok account. The actress also follows the account.
Meanwhile, some fans of their former love team, called LizQuen (Liza and Enrique), swooned over Enrique’s comment.

An Instagram post by Liza on July 30 also featured a comment from Enrique’s verified account.
The post showed the actress hanging out at a five-star hotel in Singapore.
Enrique reacted by commenting with a heart and a fire emoji.
Last February, it was reported that Liza was developing a film concept with Enrique.
The actor made his debut as a producer in 2024, while the actress launched her own production company in the same year.
A report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal in 2023 stated that Liza had admitted in an interview before that she and Enrique had broken up in October 2022.
In February 2024, Enrique said that he and the actress were still together, saying they were “just really busy.”
Liza and Enrique became official in 2016, three years after they were first paired in a film project.
In September 2024, rumors began circulating that Liza was dating Jeffrey Oh, James Reid’s former business partner.
The actress has not confirmed any of the speculations.
