Actress Liza Soberano’s Hollywood debut film can now be watched anytime and anywhere.

Some Filipinos took to social media to share that the 2024 rom-com horror film “Lisa Frankenstein” is now available for streaming on Netflix Philippines.

The film marks Liza’s first movie since moving to the United States to further her acting career after being part of a popular love team in the Philippine showbiz industry.

“Recently added on Netflix Philippines,” an online user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, January 21, sharing screenshots of the streaming platform.

“Guys, added na sa Netflix_PH ang LF [Lisa Frankenstein], abang na,” another commented, adding emojis.

Another X user also shared that they had already watched the film on the platform.

“Bentang-benta talaga sa akin ang kabaliwan ng characters sa Lisa Frankenstein. ‘Yung on the wings of love scene. Parang mas na-enjoy ko pa sa Netflix kesa nung pinanood ko sa sine. Galing ni Liza dito,” the X user wrote.

Netflix Philippines also uploaded a clip from the movie on its Facebook page, featuring a scene with Liza and lead actress Kathryn Newton.

“Taffy, my kindhearted, generous queen,” the streaming platform said on Wednesday, January 21.

“Lisa Frankenstein” centers around Lisa Swallows (Kathryn) who accidentally reanimates a handsome corpse from the Victorian era during a lightning storm.

The narrative unfolds as the pair embark on a darkly humorous journey in search of love, happiness, and a few missing body parts along the way.

The coming-of-age love story is set against the backdrop of the 1980s, blending elements of comedy, romance, and fantasy.

In the film, Liza plays Taffy, Lisa’s kind and clueless stepsister.

Her performance was praised by American producer and director Joe Russo, who called her a “superstar” and said she stole “every scene she’s in.”

Kathryn affirmed his comment by writing, “YES, SHE DOES. I (heart emoji) Liza.”
