“Kotsella?”
A gas station in Parañaque City caught attention for featuring singing pump attendants.
On Thursday, April 30, the Facebook page “Follow The Trend Movement” or FTTM posted a photo of two pump attendants performing on top of a gas station’s Air and Water Services marker.
“Ito ba ‘yung Kotsella?” it said, referring to Coachella, the famous music and arts festival held in the United States, where P-pop girl group BINI performed this month.
The post has garnered over 21,000 laughing reactions, 1,500 shares, and over 160 comments from Filipinos.
“Ito na po ba ‘yung Air Supply?” a Facebook user quipped, referring to the Australian rock duo.
“No Air Cover by: Petron boyz,” another commented.
“Sila ba ‘yung last avatar?” a different Pinoy joked.
“Pa-request po Gasolina by Daddy Yankee,” another wrote.
“May tumalo na sa Earth, Wind and Fire,” a different Facebook user, referring to an American band.
“My favorite rappers, Lil Air and Lil Water,” another Pinoy joked.
The pump attendants featured were Jaypee Hernandez and Francis Baña of Petron‘s Amvel East Arcade branch along C5 Extension in Parañaque.
A video of the gimmick was uploaded by the gas station on Wednesday, April 29.
“POV: Nagpagas ka sa pinaka-masayang gas station,” the Facebook post was captioned.
The gas station said it offers “open mic and free entertainment” every week for motorists waiting to be served.
“Habang naghihintay, enjoy muna. Solid serbisyo, solid vibes,” it said.
In another post, the gas station said the gimmick was “back by request.”
“Complete experience with lights, sounds, air and water!” it said.
“Let’s enjoy while staying in line,” the gas station added.
