In a heartwarming moment, a daughter returned home to surprise her mom on her birthday.
Ninay, a factory worker in Taiwan, flew back to the Philippines for a tear-jerking reunion with her family during her mother Jocelyn’s birthday party in Oriental Mindoro.
Footage shows OFW Ninay stepping out of a tricycle while holding a bouquet on March 15.
She can be seen approaching her house as relatives sing outside, visibly shocked to see the tearful woman.
Moments later, as she waits outside while they call her unsuspecting mother, Ninay suddenly jumps with joy and screams upon seeing her emotional mom.
Jocelyn, dressed in a green terno outfit, stands at the doorway, her face red with tears, overwhelmed at seeing her daughter after almost two years.
The pair then embrace, tears streaming down their cheeks, in a deeply sentimental get-together.
Ninay recalled that she had not planned to return to the Philippines due to insufficient savings for the trip. However, since her love language is surprising loved ones, she decided to visit anyway.
She said: “My mom’s happiness was priceless, and seeing her smile is a blessing. A parent’s love is a treasure beyond measure.”
