An individual was called out after doing suggestive poses with a standee of Kathryn Bernardo at a bank branch in Moalboal in Cebu.

Threads users shared screengrabs of a post made by user @dee_tabanag, which showed male individuals posing with the actress’ standee.

“The other branches took decent photos of Kathryn Bernardo; what on earth happened to the entry from the Moalboal branch?” the Threads user reportedly wrote, as translated from Cebuano.

One individual could be seen doing suggestive poses, such as standing close to the standee and kneeling near its thigh.

The post has since been deleted, but screengrabs were saved by some online users, who condemned the individual for sexualizing the standee.

“Perfect example na ‘it’s not what you wear, it’s what, how they see you.’ T*** ***, karton na ‘yan ah pero nagawan niyo pa rin i-sexualize? K*** *** niyo, kayo dapat ang napupunta sa impyerno,” an online user wrote.

Her post has earned 4,200 likes and 1,100 reposts.

Another user called on BPI, which hosted the standee, saying its “employees” exhibited “creepy and disturbing” behavior.

It has not been confirmed whether the individuals, including the user who originally uploaded the pictures, were employees of the bank.

The post also reached Facebook, where a user expressed concern over the photos.

“This was actually disturbing. Not all men, but it’s always men talaga. Pati standee hindi pinalagpas sa kahayupan at kababuyan? Nothing is safe [from] evil animals disguised as humans, but always hungry for flesh and cannot hide their true identity. The audacity?” the online user wrote.

“Hindi na nahiya kung nakikita ba sila sa CCTV, higit doon, hindi nahiya sa ngalan ng company,” the online user added.

“Horseplay yarn? Kamusta kaya lisensiya nila? Mayroon kaya? Matanggalan sana,” the online user continued.

“BPI Direct BanKo, BPI, paki-check po sila at baka may mga records na ‘yan ng harassment sa mga co-workers (which is not impossible kasi ‘yung standee nga na-harass, iyong mga katrabaho pa kaya?)” the online user concluded.

Neither BPI nor BPI Direct BanKo has released a statement regarding the alleged incident.
