Miss Universe Philippines 2026 is introducing its first-ever daily free fan voting experience, powered by Maya, its official voting partner.
Through the mobile wallet app, fans can vote for their favorite candidates and receive free votes daily. Users who upgrade their Maya accounts can unlock access to these daily free votes, allowing them to consistently support their chosen delegate throughout the competition.
Public voting will be open for a limited time ahead of coronation night. The full voting schedule will be announced on the official Miss Universe Philippines social media accounts.
For the first time, fans will also be able to participate in live voting during coronation night. Votes submitted through the Maya platform will be integrated into the overall selection process, alongside judges’ scores, leading up to the announcement of semifinalists.
Miss Universe Philippines Executive Vice President Voltaire Tayag said the new system gives supporters a more meaningful role in the competition.
“This is your chance to be heard. Fans throughout the country and also throughout the world can participate through secure and accessible voting, where public participation is not symbolic but truly impactful,” Tayag said.
Christopher Ray Manguera, head of New Businesses and Customer Experience at Maya, also described fans helping shape the pageant as “empowerment.”
“In the voting platform we’re launching together with Miss Universe Philippines, everyone can choose their candidate and vote for free every day — that’s empowerment. You make your voice heard, and you get to help choose the next Miss Universe Philippines,” Manguera said.
According to the organization, the initiative aims to make the pageant experience more accessible and interactive by combining expert evaluation with public participation.
Voting timelines and mechanics will be posted on Miss Universe Philippines’ official channels.
The 2026 edition of Miss Universe Philippines kicked off with the introduction of 51 candidates vying to succeed Ahtisa Manalo last Monday, February 16.
