A heart-stopping moment during an acrobatic performance in Malita, Davao Occidental, was captured on video.
In a Facebook post on November 10, Ben Jan Novela Basillisco shared a video showing this acrobatic performance mishap.
The video showed several performers stacked in a multi-layer formation while two male performers supported the feet of those above them.
As they descend, the group briefly loses balance, causing the top performers to slip.
Fortunately, other team members quickly catch them, preventing a full fall to the floor despite foam mats being laid out for safety.
The clip has since circulated online, garnering 2.4 million views, 13,000 reactions and 1,400 comments.
Many viewers advised the performers to take extra precautions given the dangerous nature of their stunts.
“Mag-iingat po wag magbibiro,” a Facebook user said.
