A boyfriend took Halloween to the next level with a homemade lizard costume.
Keith Manaloto improvised his outfit using tape and cardboard cut-outs to transform himself into a gecko in Pampanga.
Timelapse footage shows his girlfriend, dressed in a pink fairy outfit, helping him wrap his arms and legs in tape before attaching the head and tail of the costume on October 25.
In another clip, Keith proudly parades his creation as he enters a friend’s house, sending his mates into fits of laughter as he clings to the wall and mimics a gecko’s chirping sound.
He even crawled playfully across the floor, fully committing to his reptilian persona.
“With only an hour left, I grabbed some cardboard and packaging tape, crafting a makeshift gecko head and tail,” Manaloto said.
“I wrapped myself up, the beige tape and cardboard accidentally matched the exact color of the tiny lizards found in Southeast Asian homes,’ he added.
Manaloto’s video showcasing his costume has so far garnered 2 million views, 293,200 likes, 750 comments and 15,600 saves.
