Content creator Mimiyuuuh gained attention for using an expression during her interview with “The Devil Wears Prada 2” star Meryl Streep.
The vlogger was able to interview Meryl and her co-star Anne Hathaway in Japan during the movie’s press tour.
Part of the interview was posted on X (formerly Twitter), where some users shared their reactions to Mimiyuuuh’s encounter with the Oscar-winning actresses.
One X user noticed that the Filipina blurted out an expression in response to Meryl’s answer in relation to the movie.
“Mimiyuuuh just ‘giiirrrlll’-ed Meryl Streep. You’ve made it, giiirrrlll,” an online user said, referring to Mimiyuuuh.
Meryl is recognized as one of the most versatile performers of her era, noted for her masterful technique, expertise with dialects and subtly expressive face.
Meanwhile, in the interview, Mimiyuuuh recalled a scene from the first movie and asked, “Nigel said that you will pay him back if the time is right. Is the right time going to happen in this sequel?”
Anne looked at Meryl, who only gestured as if she was zipping her lips shut with her finger.
“Giiirl?” Mimiyuuuh exclaimed.
“You’re so good at that! I’m like, ‘Oh my G-,” Anne quipped, then gestured as if making an effort to keep her lips shut.
“I need to hide,” Anne added.
“We really need to watch the movie,” Mimiyuuuh told Meryl.

The content creator also described the encounter as a “one of a kind experience” she will never forget in her lifetime.
“Hindi pa rin po ako makapaniwala na I got the chance to meet these icons in this lifetime. Huhu! SHE REALLY IS A LUCKY STAR!” Mimiyuuuh wrote in an Instagram post.

Meryl and Anne also noticed Mimiyuuuh’s shoes, which were Loewe black and red balloon heels.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is the much-anticipated sequel to the 2006 chick flick “The Devil Wears Prada,” which features a demanding fashion editor, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), and her assistants, aspiring journalist Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) and stalwart Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt).
The sequel follows Miranda, now near retirement, as she reunites with her former assistant-turned-rival, Emily Charlton, as they compete for advertising revenue amid declining print media.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” will premiere in local cinemas on April 29.
