Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez shared family photos amid rumors about her son Rep. Arjo Atayde (Quezon City, First District) and daughter-in-law Maine Mendoza.

The actress on Monday, March 30, posted pictures of her anniversary celebration with her husband, Art Atayde, and thanked their children for planning a surprise for them.

“Thank you, kiddos, for surprising us last night. Love you all! Happy anniversary again, my husband Art—pangit! Love you most!” she wrote, adding emojis.

The photos she shared showed Arjo and Maine standing together and sitting side by side at a dining table.

Arjo and Maine have been the subject of separation rumors online after a TikTok clip by actor-comedian Bayani Agbayani showed an Atayde family gathering without the “Eat Bulaga” host. While Arjo attended the event, Maine was not seen.

“Hiwalay na ba sila Arjo at Maine? Sa TikTok post ni Bayani Agbayani kagabi. Complete ang mga Atayde para sa b-day party nila Ria at Mr. Arturo, minus Maine Mendoza. Siya lang wala,” an online user wrote.

Arjo also dedicated a social media post celebrating Maine’s birthday on March 3.

“Through all the ups and downs, I’m so grateful I get to do life with you. Happy Birthday, my love. I love you so much,” he wrote before.

A family representative said rumors of Arjo and Maine’s separation are “not true.”

“Not feeling well siya. May sakit. Uso ‘di ba,” the representative told a news outlet, explaining that Maine skipped the family gathering due to illness.

Arjo and Maine have been married since 2023.
