Actress-host Tuesday Vargas expressed delight after hosting a children’s party at a fast food chain, following her earlier mention of needing work opportunities.
The showbiz personality on Tuesday, March 3, shared that she had been asked to emcee a party celebrating a one-year-old’s birthday at Jollibee.
“First time kong ma-hire sa 1st birthday, and sa Jollibee pa! Bida ang saya!” she exclaimed in a video, referencing the fast food chain’s tagline.
“Salamat po sa aking mababait na clients. PM [private message] lang po, guys! Baka pati pag mascot pasukin ko na din, bakit? Mahirap ‘yun at desenteng trabaho. Laban tayo always!” Tuesday added.
Some establishments have mascots or life-sized figures designed to engage customers, enhance brand recognition and promote their products or services.
Last month, Tuesday shared that she is open to any projects or work opportunities.
“Sa mga kaibigan kong writer, producer at director po, kung meron po kayong projects para sa akin ay available po ako,” she wrote on Facebooj on February 7.
“I am a diligent worker and I’d like to believe that I am a good and versatile artist. Please hire me po. Promise, paghuhusayan ko po. Salamat po,” Tuesday added.
Tuesday also previously shared on her Facebook Story the types of work she can offer, highlighting her experience across different fields.
“Guys, if you have work for me, I promise I will do my best to be of service. I am a host, actress and singer po. I also coordinate and style events. I am also a public speaker. And I can also do commissions for paintings,” she previously said.
“Please po, if may trabaho na malinis at marangal para sa akin, PM (personal message) niyo lang po ako. Thank you!” Tuesday added.
The comedienne has appeared in shows and movies such as “Mga Lihim ni Urduja,” “Open 24/7,” “LSS,” and “The Girl in the Orange Dress.”
Tuesday has also hosted programs including “Face to Face Harapan,” “Your Honor” and “TiktoClock.”
Outside showbiz, she runs a wedding-related business and works as a live seller on social media, showcasing products to her followers as a sideline.
