Fans expressed excitement over actress-host Kris Aquino‘s possible comeback to the limelight through a video podcast after she admitted that she missed doing interviews.

The “Queen of All Media” appears to be reliving her title as she hinted at potentially taping a video podcast as a “birthday gift” for her fans.

Kris, on Monday, January 26, gave an update on her life, posting photos of herself in the hospital, where she said she agreed to have her Port-a-Cath redone.

A Port-a-Cath is a medical device placed under the skin and is used to administer medicines and other fluids to patients whose veins are weak or very narrow.

In her Facebook post, the showbiz personality thanked her nurses and physicians for helping keep her healthy as she continues to battle with her autoimmune conditions.

She also expressed gratitude to her supporters and fans who continue to pray for her, asking them to change their messages from “#fighting” to “#brave.”

“I thank God for all of you. You don’t need to know how much I suffer, you need to see that I’ll continue praying and believing that I will reach remission,” Kris wrote.

She then hinted at a possible video podcast, beginning with a “partial home tour.”

“With the correct safety protocols, pwede akong [mag-tape] as live video podcast. I MISS DOING INTERVIEWS! Will you watch [and] subscribe? Like this post if you want my podcast to start soon with a partial home tour? My birthday gift to you,” Kris said.

Kris is set to celebrate her 55th birthday on February 14.

As of writing, her post has garnered 14,000 likes and reactions, 1,700 comments and 110 shares, with many expressing excitement over her potential return to the limelight.

“Get well soon, Krissy! Miss watching your interviews,” a Facebook user wrote.

“While I was reading [your] post, I can only hear [your] words with [your] voice. The Kris that we all know —  bubbly, smart and funny. We can’t wait to hear [your] podcast soon. Get well really soon, Miss Kris,” another commented.

“Woow, nice, ma’am Kris. I miss [too] watching [your] interviews and show, excited. See [you soon], ma’am,” a different Facebook user wrote.

“Idol ka ng mama ko, miss Kris, nami-miss ka na niya mapanuod sa TV. Dati, inaabangan niya ‘yung Kris TV mo. Lagi nagtatanong kung nasaan ka na daw po ngayon. Pagaling ka po, marami po kaming naghihintay sa inyo,” another Pinoy commented.

“Praying for your healing, Ms. Kris. Miss ka na namin sa TV,” a different Facebook user wrote.

In her heyday, Kris was known for her high energy, sassiness, quirky comments and candid remarks on talk shows that fans found amusing.

Even in her serious updates about her health, she continues to inject humor into her posts.

Last December, despite being hospitalized, Kris quipped about her “uncooperative” wavy hair.

She also amused Pinoys when she revealed that she mumbled about wanting a “new pink Chanel bag” while under anesthesia.

Kris likewise made online users laugh when she unexpectedly played matchmaker for actress Carla Abellana, who had wished her well following a life update.

In 2024, she mentioned that it would be “fun” to be a co-host on Ogie Diaz’s vlog “once a week.”

Kris is battling several autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, lupus (SLE), fibromyalgia, polymyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease.

She took a hiatus from showbiz in 2016 to prioritize her health following her diagnosis.

In 2020, Kris signed a contract with talent agency Cornerstone Entertainment.
