“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” host Melai Cantiveros joked about “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino returning to television after paying her a visit for an intimate dinner gathering.
On Saturday, February 28, the “PBB” alum posted photos of herself and her husband, fellow “PBB” alum Jason Francisco, visiting Kris, who served as their godmother or principal sponsor at their wedding.
The couple met on the reality show in 2009 and began dating, becoming known as the “MelaSon” (Melai and Jason) tandem.
They eventually married in 2013 in General Santos City, Melai’s hometown.
“Babalik na sa TV ni Ms. Kris,” Melai wrote in an Instagram post, along with heart and grinning face emojis.
“Char, char lang, binisita lang namin si Ms. Kris kasi ninang namin [siya] sa kasal, kasi kung ‘di namin [siya] ninang sa kasal, bibistahin pa din namin [siya], hehehe,” Melai added.
Melai previously served as Kris’ co-host on the morning show “Kris TV,” which aired on ABS-CBN from 2011 to 2014.
“Thank [you], Ms. Kris Ninang, sa pa-dinner mo sa amin with @jasminip @darla and Papang, and thank you, Lord, bumabalik na ang gana mo sa kain, Ms. Kris, nice seeing and bonding with Bimby and kuya Josh,” Melai said, referring to Jasmin Ignacio Pallera and Darla Sauler.

Meanwhile, Kris previously hinted at launching a video podcast, saying she missed doing interviews.
She said the content would begin with a “partial home tour,” and followed by weekly sit-down interviews with people she finds “interesting.”
Kris also shared plans to feature “home cooking recipes made simpler” for her viewers.

Last month, she confirmed that she was producing and starring in an on-camera podcast, adding that they were “not yet done.”
Kris cited some health hiccups as the reason for the delay.
The “Queen of All Media” is battling several autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, lupus (SLE), fibromyalgia, polymyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease.
In her heyday, Kris was known for her high energy, sassiness, quirky comments, and candid remarks on talk shows that viewers found amusing.
