J.K. Rowling, the bestselling author behind “Harry Potter,” was recently spotted sightseeing in Palawan.

A Facebook user on Wednesday, January 21, shared that her young daughter was able to meet the world-renowned British novelist at Puerto Princesa International Airport.

Angie Larios Formaliza said her daughter, Sky, an avid “Harry Potter” fan, felt “blessed” to have seen Rowling in person, who appeared to be leaving the province at that time.

“Sky has probably read the entire Harry Potter Series more than our fingers could count. She’s basically a walking Harry Potter encyclopedia by this time. For two consecutive Christmases, Harry Potter-themed items were always part of her wish list,” Angie said in a Facebook post.

“So imagine how blessed she was to actually meet in person, no other than the author of Harry Potter herself, J.K Rowling. It was truly a dream come true for my bookworm ate,” the mother added.

“I’m so happy for you, ate Sophia Sky Formaliza. Keep conquering your dreams, my love,” Angie continued.

She accompanied her post with a photo of her daughter’s signed book.

A senior tourism operations officer of Puerto Princesa City also shared additional details about Rowling’s visit.

“Sakay ng kanyang yacht [nang] mag-tour sa ilang bays ng Puerto Princesa, then sakay ng private [plane] niya [nang] mag-fly out,” Mitchie Hitosis-Meneses wrote in a reshare.

There are no indications on Rowling’s social media accounts that she visited the popular tourist destination.

The British author is best known for writing the Harry Potter novels, which were later adapted into a film franchise starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson.

The series follows a young wizard, Harry Potter, who is prophesied to defeat an evil wizard, as he attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry alongside friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
