Filipino-American Miss Universe 2022 Universe R’Bonney Gabriel reacted to clips of herself speaking Filipino, Thai and Spanish while hosting the national costume segment of Miss Universe 2025.
On Thursday, November 20, the former Miss Universe titleholder posted a video compilation showing her speaking in different languages during the international competition, with the text, “Get you a bilingual baddie.”
She also accompanied her video with the text “When you put ‘multilingual’ in your resume.”

R’Bonney earlier gained attention of her fellow Filipinos after speaking several Filipino phrases on the global stage, where hosts are usually expected to speak in English.
The half-Pinay beauty queen uttered lines such as, “Kita tayo mamaya!” and “Masaya po ang lahat?,” much to the amusement of Filipino viewers.

The beauty queen said she has been studying Filipino, the national language of the home country of her father.
Meanwhile, Philippine bet Ahtisa Manalo is vying for the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown against 119 delegates.
Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjaer Theilvig will crown her successor in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, November 21.
