The Miss Cosmo 2025 pageant was lauded for engaging an auditing firm to monitor and verify the competition’s results independently.

According to the pageant’s official Facebook page, it will again utilize the services of the International Auditing Company Limited – Saigon Branch (iCPA) for its second edition.

“As part of Miss Cosmo’s commitment to integrity and transparency, all judging procedures, evaluation processes, and competition results will be independently monitored and audited by iCPA,” the Vietnam-based pageant said.

“Their presence alongside the Jury ensures that every score and every decision is conducted with the utmost fairness, professionalism, and accuracy,” Miss Cosmo added.

The pageant said the partnership reinforces its “dedication to building a credible and trustworthy” competition, adding that it ensures “every contestant is given a fair opportunity and audiences can place their confidence in the final results.”

“Miss Cosmo 2025 is ready to welcome beauty queens from around the globe as they begin their journey to the crown — under a system grounded in transparency, excellence, and respect,” it concluded.

Miss Cosmo is an international beauty pageant based in Vietnam. Its second edition is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on December 20.

The post regarding Miss Cosmo’s auditing firm has generated 8,800 reactions, 185 shares, and 620 comments to date, with several users commending the pageant for its transparency.

“Good job. May others’ pageantry be influenced by this,” a Facebook user commented.

“I hope this competition gives justice to the girls who truly perform and deserve the title, as well as those who put in the hard work,” another said.

“Great news! Let’s make Cosmo a more credible and transparent beauty pageant,” a different online user commented.

Others drew comparisons to the recently concluded Miss Universe 2025 pageant, where the results were marred by controversy.

“Sheesh, they had [an] auditing firm, unlike MISS UNIVERSE,” an online user said.

“Miss Universe, what can you say about this?? Hahahaha,” another commented.

“Miss U should have done the same,” a different online user shared.

“Miss Universe [doesn’t] have,” another wrote with an eyeroll emoji.

The 74th edition of Miss Universe made headlines after its winner, Fatima Bosch Fernandez of Mexico, was alleged to have ties to Miss Universe Organization president Raul Rocha Cantu.

Composer Omar Harfouch, a former jury who resigned at Miss Universe 2025, alleged that the Miss Universe 2025 semifinalist was pre-selected. He also claimed Fatima’s family had supposed business connections with Raul.

In response, Raul said that the judges of Miss Universe 2025 “do not receive any payment for participating.”

Miss Universe 2025 judge Natalie Glebova, who won Miss Universe 2005, also previously shared her experience with the results during her reign.

“When I competed in 2005 and years prior, I recall there was always an auditor that came on stage with sealed results from [an] accounting firm,” she previously said.

“I’d like to bring that back, please,” Natalie added. “Until then, I don’t think I will be participating as a judge again.”

Miss Universe is considered one of the most prestigious beauty pageants worldwide.
