Television host Luis Manzano didn’t let a Facebook comment slide past him when a social media user reportedly accused him and his father Edu Manzano of being homosexuals.

Facebook page “Kapamilya Online World” on Friday reported that the younger Manzano responded to an online basher who commented the following in a post:

“Si Edu Manzano, 2 beses ikinasal pero beki pala. Siyempre like father, like son ‘yan.”

Luis saw his comment and responded with an accompanying picture of the Facebook user he grabbed from his profile.

“Kung galit ka sa mukha mo, ‘wag mo kami idamay,” the TV host commented with a series of laughing-with-hearts emojis.

Luis has been married to actress Jessy Mendiola since April of this year.

Edu, meanwhile, has been previously married to Maricel Soriano and Vilma Santos.

Luis added another photo of the Facebook user beside an aquarium and continued, “Buti pinalabas ka ng aquarium.”

The TV host later called the attention of the commenter and said, “Pssst (name), nag-delete ka ng comment?”

A screenshot of the supposed online exchange gained traction on social media where Filipinos mostly backed Luis’ actions.

“Tao din ‘yang mga artista. ‘Di komo public figure sila eh pwede mo nang sabihin publicly lahat ng iniisip mo sa kanila. Lalo ‘pag wala namang ginagawa sa’yong masama. BURN ka tuloy! Don’t do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you,” a Facebook user said in response to the exchange.

“Yes! Kung ano sinabi mo sa kapwa mo, babalik din sa’yo! Karma is real! Tama lang ginawa ni Luis Manzano pero in the funny way,” another online user commented.

“Go Luis, kasi naman mga bashers below the belt naman na, gigil niyo ako… walang perfect, ok,” wrote a different Filipino.

A screengrab of the supposed exchange also made it to Reddit Philippines, where it earned a more critical view.

“I mean, he could’ve burned him better without having to attack his appearance. Parang ang DDS nung banat e,” a Reddit user commented, referring to Luis’ remarks.

DDS pertains to “diehard Duterte supporters” who are mostly known for airing ad hominem comments online.

Luis is known for being funny on social media. He also engages with netizens at times, such as when he asked them to turn a crying picture of him in his wedding into memes.
