Cavite cafe sparks online chatter with unique Wi-Fi password

A cafe in Cavite gained attention after a customer shared their experience asking for its Wi-Fi password.

Threads user Cris Mar shared on Sunday, February 8, that they had asked the barista of Mags’ Kapihan for the internet password.

“Tapos sabi niya, nasa resibo po. Naisip ko, ‘Bakit ayaw niya pa sabihin?’ Tama naman pala siya,” he wrote.

Cris also shared a photo of a receipt showing the cafe’s Wi-Fi network name and password.

The post has received 2,500 likes, 172 reposts, and nearly 100 replies.

It also made its way to Facebook, where it has garnered 2,900 likes and laughing reactions, along with 11 comments.

“Literal HAHAHAHAHAHA,” the Facebook user who shared a screenshot of the Threads post. commented.

Based on the receipt, Cris visited Mags’ Kapihan, a cafe in Imus City, Cavite, that serves coffee, drinks, sandwiches, pastries, and pasta meals.

The cafe had its soft opening in December 2025.

Many establishments, particularly food businesses like cafes, offer Wi-Fi to customers, often serving as venues for meetings or work-related activities that require an internet connection.

Wi-Fi passwords are commonly printed on receipts when customers make purchases.
