A restaurant and resort in San Mateo, Rizal, was not entirely accurate in labeling its “female” and “male” restrooms, drawing laughs among guests.

On Monday, December 29, The STAR shared photos of the comfort rooms (CR) at Caza Peregrine Resort and Restaurant, which, instead of featuring usual boy-and-girl icons or labels, uses the signs “TAMA” and “MALI.”

“TAMA” referred to the female CR, while “MALI” referred to the male CR.

The post has garnered 5,600 likes and laughing reactions, along with over 200 comments from Filipinos.

“We were just there last Friday with my boyfriend, and I got a little confused by the signage kung saan ang pang-female CR. But my boyfriend went to the mali side and said, ‘Sa tama ka, kasi laging tama ang babae, hahahaha,” one wrote.

“Dapat ‘male’ para gets agad,” another commented, referring to the “MALI” signage as “male.”

“Paano ‘yung mga bata? Hahaha,” a different Pinoy wrote.

“Dapat nilagay man lang ang correct spelling ng MALE is Male, not mali,” another said.

“Of course, sa mali mga lalaki. Wahahahahaha,” a different Facebook user commented.

Among Filipinos, especially in relationships, it has long been joked that females are always right in decisions and arguments.

Caza Peregrine Resort and Restaurant is a mountainside destination featuring a tree-top viewing deck overlooking the famed Sierra Madre, accommodations such as the “Kubo Room” and the “Glass Room,” and Filipino dishes like crispy pata.
