Filipinos planning to explore the world now have a new tool to make traveling easier, more convenient, and more rewarding.
The GCash Klook Travel Card, a collaboration between e-wallet provider GCash and travel platform Klook, is designed to simplify payments abroad while providing a variety of travel perks.
The card was unveiled at an exclusive media preview, where executives from both companies highlighted its features and perks.
“Klook’s belief has always been that the world is more meaningful and engaging when people connect through shared experiences. We enable that by making travel simple, accessible, and rewarding for travelers. With GCash, we’re taking that commitment a step further. By combining Klook’s expertise in curating top travel experiences with GCash’s trusted financial ecosystem, we’re bringing greater value and ease to every journey, making extraordinary adventures even more possible for more Filipinos,” Michelle Ho, Klook Philippines General Manager, said.
The card allows users to pay in over 200 countries using their GCash Wallet, offering zero international service fees, low foreign exchange rates, real-time conversion to pesos and global ATM access.
According to Barbara Dapul, G-Xchange Inc. General Manager for B2C and COO, “Through our partnership with Klook, we are now offering Filipino travelers premium perks and total control over their spending. We’re making every journey simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for every Filipino.”
New cardholders will also receive a welcome pack, which includes a P1,000 airport transfer voucher, a P350 Klook eSIM voucher, and an annual P1,000 hotel voucher. Cardholders can also enjoy 5% off on travel experience bookings up to five times per year. Users are automatically upgraded to the Gold Tier of the Klook Rewards Program, which includes complimentary eSIMs, three times more KlookCash, and over P6,000 in bonus travel coupons.
Powered by Visa’s global network, the card provides flexibility and oversight, allowing users to monitor foreign currency spending and rewards directly in the GCash and Klook apps.
The travel card will be made available this December. Interested users can sign up for the waitlist through the Klook app to receive updates and access the card, with the first 10,000 customers able to avail of an introductory promo price of P250.
