While all eyes were on Philippine bet Ahtisa Manalo, Filipino designer Patrick Isorena also garnered attention for his talent, creating national costumes for two other Miss Universe 2025 contestants.

Patrick designed a striking ensemble for Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2025 Tahiti Seymour, for the 74th Miss Universe competition. The blue-and-gold outfit, complete with a headpiece and wings, featured intricate detailing.

The designer shared pictures of his creation for Tahiti on his Facebook page.

His creation impressed fellow Filipinos, who shared their reactions in the comments.

“Uiiii, ang ganda,” an online user said.

“Grabe, detalyado talaga, malinis, mabango,” wrote another user.

“So pretty,” commented a different Pinoy.

Patrick was also tapped to design the national costume of Miss Universe Bulgaria 2025 Gaby Guha. However, “things didn’t go as planned” due to a “mishap at the backstage.”

Despite the setback, Patrick shared a video of Gaby’s supposed national costume, which featured a pink ensemble adorned with glowing flowers.

“Still proud of MISS BULGARIA,” Patrick wrote.

Patrick was also the designer behind the national costume of Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Mary Tiglao.

He was also responsible for creating Filipino-American Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel‘s “woman on moon” costume at the 71st Miss Universe competition.

The national costume segment of Miss Universe gives candidates the opportunity to showcase outfits that reflect their home country’s culture and spirit.
