A sports utility vehicle occupying two slots in a parking area caught the attention of an online Filipino community.
On August 21, a Reddit user posted a photo of the SUV parked in an open area, showing it positioned between, rather than within, the designated parking lines.
The photo quickly drew comments, with many questioning the driver’s parking skills and courtesy.
“How can people be THIS bad at parking?” the Redditor asked. The comment, posted with a loudly crying face emoji, was shared in r/Gulong, a subreddit for drivers and motorists in the Philippines.

The post has since garnered 4,600 upvotes and 725 comments, with many Filipinos pointing out a prominent sticker on the SUV’s rear windshield.
“I stand with Tatay Digong. I am not a Filipino for nothing,” it reads. It was accompanied by a graphic of the face of former president Rodrigo Duterte and his signature fist bump.
Some, however, took a more cautious stance, suggesting that other cars may have also parked improperly in the slots earlier and later left, possibly leaving the SUV in that position.
“Depends how the [car] before that was parked. Don’t judge too fast,” a Redditor wrote.
“Hard to judge. Baka pangit parking nung mga katabi niya and siya ang nag-adjust,” another commented.
Drivers are expected to park within the designated lines of parking slots. These markings help organize traffic flow, maximize available space and improve safety by clearly defining parking spots and guiding vehicle placement.
