Content creator Macoy Dubs amused online users with his response to a query about his preferred color choice.
On August 27, the internet personality shared a conversation where he was asked to choose an item based on two colors available — “Travertine Green” and “Moondust Grey.”
“What colors ang gusto mo?” the sender asked him with a smiling emoji.
Macoy had an unserious response to the question.
“Ang bakla nung Travertine Grey. It feels calcareous, but at the same time, healing. Para siyang healing crystal with apothecary possibilities, pero hindi nag-breakthrough?” he wrote.
“I am also sensing na it could be a friendly color that cares for you, pero very straightforward and unapologetically frank. TRAVERTINE. Such a nice color. Precipitating effect that forms caves. Doon ako. Thank you,” the content creator added.
“SABEH,” he also told the sender, indicating he was unserious.
“Sorry na-dogshow kita! Sana ok ka lang,” Macoy said in the caption.
His post has amassed 4,300 laugh reactions and over 80 comments, with the content creator sharing more thoughts in the comments section.
“TRAVERTINE GREY is like the lost sister of JEAN GREY, but more powerful and mas omnipotent! She’s like the mortal enemy of SCARLET WITCH and SENTRY, pero mag-babaklaan lang sila sa Malate. SABEH,” he commented.
In another comment, Macoy jokingly said his response was the effect of eating “chicken poppers.”
His post amused Filipinos who shared their reactions and laughed along in the comments.
“Napa-search tuloy ako anong itsura nitong travertine grey kung may healing crystal effect ba talaga siya, kasi I need healing. Eme,” a Facebook user wrote.
“Alabang exclusive colors ba ‘yan, mhie,” another commented.
“Sabi nung seller na ‘di aware sa nangyayari, ‘pinagsasasabi nito??'” exclaimed a different Pinoy.
It is unclear what specific item Macoy was referring to, although it’s common for brands to use unique color names in marketing to evoke emotions or tell a story.
