Cinephiles do not need to spend hundreds pesos to watch movies for a certain period this month.

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) announced the return of “Sine 50: Pelikula ng Bayan,” where select Filipino films can be viewed for only P50 each.

The lineup includes “Cinemalaya” entries such as “Signal Rock,” “K’na, the Dreamweaver” and “Himpapawid.”

Others include Cinema One Originals titles such as “Lorna” and “A Short History of a Few Bad Things.”

Movie enthusiasts can watch the films at Cinematheque Centre Manila, Cinematheque Centre Iloilo, Cinematheque Centre Davao, and Cinematheque Centre Negros this month.

Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Saan aabot ang 50 pesos mo?” FDCP wrote.

Manila screenings are from April 16 to 18, while Davao screenings are ongoing until April 18. Iloilo screenings, meanwhile, run from April 16 to 30, while Negros screenings are also ongoing until April 30.

Here are the schedules of the movies:
