The stars of “Scary Movie” are back.
Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, Regina Hall, and other fan favorites reunite in the latest installment of the franchise, bringing laughs, scares, and outrageous parodies to a new generation of horror fans.
The official trailer is now available online.
Twenty-six years after surviving a suspiciously familiar masked killer known as “Ghostface,” the Core Four are once again in the killer’s crosshairs.
No horror movie is safe.
The film hilariously parodies reboots, remakes, sequels, spin-offs, origin stories, and every so-called “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final. The returning cast, alongside fresh faces, promises to deliver the signature “Scary Movie” mix of slapstick comedy, meta-horror and pop culture parody, spoofing films such as “Sinners,” “Megan,” and “Weapons,” among others.
The new installment is directed by Michael Tiddes and produced by Wayans brothers Marlon, Shawn, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez, with executive producers Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy, and Marsha L. Swinton. The screenplay was written by Marlon, Shawn, Keenen Ivory, Craig and Rick, based on characters originally created by Shawn, Marlon, Buddy Johnson, Phil Beauman, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.
It is executive produced by Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy and Marsha L. Swinton.
Returning favorites and new cast members include Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Dave Sheridan, Heidi Gardner, Lochlyn Munro, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif and Sydney Park.
Fans of the franchise can expect everything they loved about the original films, with plenty of new laughs and meta-horror moments.
The new “Scary Movie” will premiere in Philippine cinemas on June 10, 2026.
