Television personality Kim “Kuya Kim” Atienza offered words of comfort to actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith after she posted about grief.

Curtis-Smith wrote on Threads on June 26: “When does grief end?”

Hours later, Atienza replied: “It never does, Jas. Your heart grows bigger to accommodate it. Call me anytime.”

Curtis-Smith liked Atienza’s comment.

The actress’ father, James Earnest Curtis-Smith, died in January. Curtis-Smith previously said she was still grieving his death.

Messages of support

Other Threads users also showed appreciation for Kuya Kim’s gesture of support.

“Kuya Kim, you’re the best!” someone commented.

“Just reading your replies is already so encouraging,” another user wrote.

“Kuya Kim, know that your replies here in Threads are appreciated,” said a different Pinoy.

Kuya Kim has offered support to other users in Threads who have admitted to going through struggles or having problems with their mental health.

Last March, a young man told the TV personality that he “saved a life” after Kuya Kim responded to his Threads post in which he said he could no longer cope with life.

Kuya Kim invited him to watch his show, “TikToClock,” and met with him.

The encounter delighted the young man, who thanked the TV personality for taking the “time and effort” to see him.
