Actress Kim Molina shared how she managed to lose weight amid questions about her figure.
The showbiz personality on Thursday, May 7, posted photos of her diet, meal plans, and workout routine to address questions about her physique following her weight loss.
“‘KUMAKAIN KA PA BA?!’ — another question I recently get asked a lot,” Kim wrote in a Facebook post.
“People think I don’t eat… But I actually eat a lot — just with intention,” the actress said.
“My food had to match my output. That meant: While in a calorie deficit, I had to adjust my nutrition around my training demands. I needed more carbs on leg days. More fuel for performance. Not just ‘low calories,’ but strategic calories,” Kim added.
“Reverse Diet doesn’t mean ‘eat anything all at once’ though,” the actress said.
“It’s a gradual increase in calories after a deficit to restore metabolism, boost energy, performance, and maintain leanness without rebound weight gain,” she added.
Kim admitted that while she is “still dialing in” her reverse diet macros, she is “adjusting slowly” based on her workouts and recovery.
“Because progress isn’t just about eating less, it’s about knowing when to eat more,” she wrote.
The actress also shared a photo of Jerald eating a large amount of food while still maintaining visible abs to support her point.
“See how the husband eats A LOT and still [has] abs,” she wrote with emojis.
Kim likewise said that, apart from her workouts and intentional eating, she relied on food preparation services like Healthily PH to help her “stay consistent” with her diet.
“Quiet discipline. Consistent choices. And learning when to give your body more — not less,” she concluded.
“Hit your needed protein and water per day,” Kim responded.
Another Facebook user also commented, “Tapos biglang nabuntis.”
The actress responded that it is still possible for one to regain or maintain a pre-pregnancy body.
“Tapos? Pwede bumalik after. I really find it weird for people to comment this like it’s wrong, eh bagong kasal ako. LOL,” Kim said.
The actress previously had a fuller figure.
In 2019, she also lost weight through a ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting, and gym workouts, saying she needed to do so for her movie and television roles.
