Drag queen Odasha Flop, also known as O-A, went viral after sharing that she received a supposed “PR package” from a brand but was asked to pay cash on delivery.
The “Drag Den” season one alum on Monday, September 15 posted about the experience on X (formerly Twitter) about receiving the “PR package,” which refers to kit of products or materials given to someone to generate buzz and reviews from the receiver.
Brands usually send such packages to influencers, celebrities, lifestyle journalists and other personalities in the hopes of generating awareness and positive buzz, enhancing its reputation and credibility.
“A brand sent me a PR package pero naka-COD,” she wrote with loudly crying emojis.
“COD” is short for “Cash On Delivery,” a payment method in which the receiver will pay for the item via cash when it gets delivered.
“Ang laugh ko, hauf [hayop],” the drag artist added.
